The Lego Ninjago Movie Is A Feel Good Movie For Kids And AdultsI am beyond excited to see The LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE – out right now in theaters! I wish I would have been able to see the screening last week (perks of being an entertainment blogger), but alas, my own kiddos had their martial arts class and had to be there. I guess you can say they are training to be Ninjagos themselves (without the dragons and Garmadon)…

The Lego Ninjago Movie Is A Feel Good Movie For Kids And AdultsA young boy ventures into an old relic shop, he meets the mysterious Mr Liu (Jackie Chan), who decides to tell him the legend of Ninjago. Ninjago is a city that is under constant attack of Lord Garmadon. Who unfortunately happens to be the father of a young teen Lloyd Garmadon (Dave Franco) and husband of Koko, Lloyd’s mom (Olivia Munn). The entire city despise Lloyd because of his connections with Garmadon, which puts Lloyd into emotional stress. Lloyd is secretly a ninja along with his friends Kai, Jay, Nya, Cole and Zane. On his birthday Garmadon comes to attack the city once again. Lloyd and his friends attack him using their mechs. As Lloyd confronts Garmadon, he gets emotional and becomes upset when Garmadon reveals he doesn’t care about his son (not knowing that the Green Ninja is Lloyd). Lloyd successfully defeats Garmadon out of anger. Meanwhile Garmadon is planning his next big attack, he doesn’t get the good advice from his generals so he fires them out of a volcano. He is told that there is a new mach in the works.

The Lego Ninjago Movie Is A Feel Good Movie For Kids And AdultsWhile I wasn’t lucky enough to see it yet, my good friend Jana over at Merlot Mommy saw it and had some positive things to say. I have to say I am a little jealous…

We have to remember we all have value. Everyone has an inner strength. We just need to believe in ourselves and tap into that strength. This goes for kids and adults. It’s a feel-good message from a movie that gives you all the feels. – Jana, Merlot Mommy
