These Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins are so simple to make and leave a lasting impression on everyone who tries them.

Ingredients:

2 1⁄4 C flour

1 1⁄2 tsp baking powder

1 1⁄2 tsp baking soda

1⁄2 C sugar, can use artificial sweetener

1⁄2 C all-natural unsweetened applesauce

4 large egg whites

1⁄3 C canola oil

3 very ripe bananas, mashed

1/2 C skim milk

1⁄4 C semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 C chopped walnuts

How to make WW Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins:

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners

Step 2. Using a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

Step 3. Using a large bowl, beat the sugar, applesauce, eggs, and oil until frothy.

Step 4. Alternating between the mashed banana and dry ingredients, gradually beat the two together until combined

Step 5. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.

Step 6. Spoon the batter into the cups, filling each about two-thirds full.

Step 7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until light golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean

Step 8. Remove from the cups and cool completely on a rack.
