WW Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 C flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 C sugar can use artificial sweetener
  • 1/2 C all natural unsweetened applesauce
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1/3 C canola oil
  • 3 very ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 C skim milk
  • 1/4 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 C chopped walnuts

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners
  • Using a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
  • Using a large bowl, beat the sugar, applesauce, eggs and oil until frothy.
  • Alternating between the mashed banana and dry ingredients, gradually beat the two together until combined
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
  • Spoon the batter into the cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until light golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean
  • Remove from the cups and cool completely on a rack.
