Who doesn’t love Chick-fil-A coleslaw? Quite arguably the best coleslaw around!

Coleslaw (or slaw) is a staple in so many summer activities involving food. I love it with barbecues ribs, or as a topper to shredded pork. It’s just one of those dishes that says “summer is here”. Of course you can have it any time of the year, but for me I am reminded of those family get-togethers at the beach, celebrating by watching the fireworks, and eating corn on the cob in the lazy evening.   

The recipe is surprisingly easy to make too – you can bring all of the ingredients with you to the party and make it fresh or make it ahead so that it’s ready for the crowds. But make sure to bring plenty because your friends and family will be asking for seconds.

Here’s how to make my personal favorite without having to actually go to Chick-Fil-A. (and make everyone at the picnic beg you for the recipe!) Makes 6-8 servings!

 

Cole Slaw Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 bags (14 oz each) shredded cole slaw mix
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

 

Cole Slaw Process

Process:

1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayo, vinegar, sugar, dry mustard, and salt until smooth.

2. Once sauce is fully mixed add in shredded cole slaw mix and fold over with spatula until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours, or overnight.
