While I was at the red carpet premiere of Ant-Man and the Wasp (In theaters July 6th), I noticed that Karen Gillan who plays Nebula in the Marvel films was wearing an absolutely gorgeous bejeweled gold dress by Alice + Olivia. I couldn’t help thinking that it was very reminiscent of the Infinity Gauntlet from Avenger’s: Infinity War.
Then she posted this on Instagram. Note the caption…
In the comic books Nebula ends up stealing the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos and ultimately gets defeated by him. Adam Warlock, who has only been mentioned in a post-credit scene from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and yet to be revealed ends up with the Gauntlet and undoes all of the dusting and destruction Thanos has done. As we know the films don’t necessarily follow the comics, but maybe in this case it does…
