Ingredients:
2 Russet Potatoes
1 ½ cup All Purpose Flour
2 Large Eggs
Pinch of Nutmeg
2 tbsp. Butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for frying
Ingredients:
Step 1. Peel and cut the potatoes into bite sized pieces. Boil in water until the potatoes are tender.
Step 2. Mash the potatoes well with 2 Tbsp. of butter.
Step 3. Add the cooled potatoes to a mixing bowl with the eggs, flour, nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4. Form the dough into 12 even pieces.
Step 5. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
Step 6. Fry the potato pancakes until golden brown and crispy.
Step 7. Drain on a paper towel lined plate before serving.
