My sister-in-law made a decorative plate with some friends for a craft day, and I totally loved what they did. So, of course, I wanted to make my own to hang in the kitchen. It’s super simple and, if you use the 40%/50% off coupons at Hobby Lobby and Michael’s, it’s a really cheap project.

What you need:
1 plastic charger ($1.99 at Michael’s — I haven’t seen them at Hobby Lobby)
1 package of embellishments (prices vary — I think I paid $2-$3 after my coupon)
1 wooden letter ($2-$3)
Glue/tape/hot glue gun

I highly recommend putting the letter on the inside of the charger since it would be difficult to glue over the ridge. Once you decide where you want to place your embellishments and letter, glue everything on! That’s it! You can use paint, too, if you want — either on the letter or the rim of the plate. I think my sister-in-law painted hers, but I really didn’t want to mess with that.
