  • shredded chicken
  • Onion
  • Bell Pepper
  • Rotel
  • Fat-Free Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • Garlic Powder
  • Chili Powder
  • Tortillas
  • Gouda cheese
  • Cooking Spray
  • Pepper To Taste

How to make King ranch chicken casserole:

First, preheat your oven to 350 F or 180 C degrees.

Warm some oil or spray a nonstick frying pan over medium with cooking spray and cook your diced onions and peppers until softening. 

Stir in the chicken, soup, tomatoes, chili powder, and garlic, and don’t forget to season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix until combined. 

Spray a casserole baking dish with cooking spray and layer ⅓ of the tortilla pieces.

Top with ⅓ of the chicken mixture and then again with the tortilla pieces. 

Repeat one more time with the chicken and tortilla and finish with tortilla pieces on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in an oven for 30-35 minutes. Enjoy. 

Top with the grated gouda cheese and bake for 30-35 minutes.
