Ingredients:
1 ½ lb. Chicken Breasts cut Into bite sized pieces
2 tsp. Garlic (Minced)
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
Sesame Seeds for Garnish
Oil for Frying
Batter:
1 Egg White
¼ cup Cornstarch
⅔ cup Flour
½ tsp. Baking Powder
½ cup Ice Water
Salt to Taste
Sauce:
1 tsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp. Sesame Oil
⅓ cup Honey
½ cup Water
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Step 1. Heat several inches of oil in a skillet over medium high heat until the temperature reaches 350 degrees.
Step 2. Mix the ingredients for the batter, and dip the chicken into it, and then place into the heated oil.
Step 3. Fry the chicken until the outside is crispy and the chicken is cooked through.
Step 4. Mix together the ingredients for the sauce.
Step 5. Place 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.
Step 6. Add the garlic to the skillet, and saute for 30 seconds.
Step 7. Stir in the chicken, and pour in the honey sauce.
Step 8. Saute the chicken until the sauce thickens and becomes sticky, and the chicken is browned.
Step 9. Garnish the chicken with sesame seeds before serving.
