Cream cheese bon-bons have been a holiday tradition in my family ever since I could remember. I always look forward to the delicious cookies, sweet and a little tart at the same time. I adapted my mom’s original recipe to make them a bit healthier – I hope you make them and LOVE them like I do!
- 2 Cups Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
- 8oz Organic Cream Cheese
- 1 Cups Organic Butter
- Organic Walnuts
- Organic Powedered Sugar
Cream flour, cream cheese, and butter together in a mixer, then refrigerate for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll dough out on a powdered sugar dusted surface. cut into strips and roll with a walnut in each. back for 15 minutes. Once done, roll in powdered sugar while hot. Enjoy!
