1 ½ cup Sugar (Granulated)

¼ cup Cornstarch

½ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

2 cup Milk

1 tsp. Vanilla

3 Egg Yolks

Pinch of salt

Pre-baked Pie Crust

Instructions:

Step 1, Add the cornstarch, sugar, cocoa, salt and egg yolks to a saucepan. Place the saucepan over medium heat, and stir to combine.

Step 2, Mix the milk into the saucepan slowly, whisking constantly.

Step 3, Continue to stir often, and cook until the mixture is about the consistency of thick pudding.

Step 4, Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.

Step 5, Pour the chocolate mixture into the pie crust.

Step 6, Allow to cool to room temperature, and then chill for a few hours before you serve.
