American Girl Dolls Will Soon Have An American Boy
American Girl has always been a brand that listens to their fans. Their American Girl dolls have stood apart from other dolls with unique ethnicity, rich histories and back stories, and dolls with special accessories and characteristics that you just don’t see in the doll world.
In response to thousands of impassioned requests, American Girl is giving girls More Characters to Love in 2017! First up, on February 16, American Girl fans will meet the newest contemporary character, Tenney Grant. Tenney is a breakout singer-songwriter from Nashville who is pursuing her dream of becoming a performer. Tenney will launch with an 18-inch doll and music-inspired outfits and accessories. In addition, the line will also feature Logan Everett, Tenney’s bandmate and American Girl’s first-ever boy character.
While Tenney is an exciting addition to the American Girl line, I am more excited to see Logan. Logan is giving little girls and boys everywhere an excuse to “play with dolls” and I love that.
I can picture my 6 year old twins – a boy and a girl – being able to play together with their very own American Girl dolls. Logan even dresses like my son with his screen print tee and plaid flannel shirt.
Tenney and Logan are available Thursday at American Girl stores nationwide and AmericanGirl.com/shop. Many stores will also have a meet & greet starting Thursday – you can check http://www.americangirl.com/retail/ for a location near you where you can meet Tenney and Logan for the first time starting February 16th.
