This German Chocolate Brownie Cookies recipe will give you a revolutionary way to eat brownies.

Ingredients:

Cookies:

2 tbsp. Butter

8 oz. Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

½ cup Sugar

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

2 Large eggs

¼ tsp. Baking Powder

½ cup All Purpose Flour

Topping:

8 tbsp. Butter

2 Egg Yolks

1 cup Evaporated Milk

1 cup Sugar

1 tsp. Vanilla Wxtract

1 cup Coconut (Shredded)

1 cup Pecans (Chopped)

Melted Chocolate for Drizzling

Instructions:

Step 1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2. Melt the butter in chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl by heating at 30 seconds intervals in the microwave until smooth.

Step 3. Mix together the eggs, ½ cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract.

Step 4. Add the cooled chocolate to the egg mixture and stir to combine.

Step 5. Mix the flour and baking powder into the chocolate mixture and stop by the teaspoon onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 minutes.

Step 6. While the cookies are baking, add the butter, egg yolks, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup evaporated milk to a pot over medium heat. Stir the mixture and heat until thickened.

Step 7. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the coconut, pecans and vanilla.

Step 8. Top each cookie with some of the topping mixture, and allow to chill for 30 minutes. Drizzle the cookies with melted chocolate and chill 15 minutes longer before serving.
