  • White wine
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Unsalted butter
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Cayenne
  • kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

How to make Roasted Parmesan Creamed Onions:

Step 1. First, preheat your oven to 350 F or 180 C degrees. 

Step 2. Spread onion rings on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. 

Step 3. Season them with salt and pepper to taste, and drizzle some olive oil on top. 

Step 4. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. 

Step 5. Increase the temperature to 450F or 220 C degrees. Remove the tray, and in the meantime, mix the heavy cream, wine, butter, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the butter is completely melted. 

Step 6. Pour the heavy cream mixture over the baked onions, and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Then bake for another 20 minutes.  Serve and enjoy.
