How to make Polish Pasta Bake:

Step 1. First, preheat your oven to 350 F or 180 C degrees and grease a 9×13 inch baking tray with butter or cooking spray.

Step 2. In a pot filled with salted boiling water, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain and wash with cold water. Drain again and set aside. This is a tip to prevent it from sticking.

Step 3. Melt the butter in a nonstick frying pan over medium heat and stir in the flour. Cook for 1 minute and whisk until combined.

Step 4. Pour in the milk and garlic powder and stir until well combined and thickened. Remove from heat and set aside. Stir in the Dijon mustard and sour cream—season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5. Pour the sauce into the cooked pasta and add the sauerkraut, sausages, green onions, and 2 cups of gouda cheese.

Step 6. Transfer the Polish pasta to the prepared pan and top with the remaining gouda cheese.

Step 7. Bake until golden brown. It will take around 30-40 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
