Carol and I are great friends in part because we have so much in common. One of our shared interests is beauty and fashion; we both love to dye our hair different colors, and I’m pretty sure we’ve done every color in the rainbow between the two of us. During BlogHer in 2014, we both had hot pink hair at the same time, and people would get mixed up as to which pink-haired Portland blogger was which. People I ran into thought I was Carol, and people she spoke to thought she was Beeb – one memorable instance of this was when she introduced herself to someone who said, “Oh! You’re The Other Beeb!” On the final day, Carol tapped me on the shoulder and said, “Seriously?” I turned around and, much to my surprise and amusement, I saw Carol in a near-identical dress to mine with a similar pattern…very similar makeup…and the same hot pink hair…what can I say, we both have great taste!
