Let’s Celebrate Galentine’s Day!
Luna Bar wants you to have the best Galentine’s Day EVER!
Ever since Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) in “Parks and Recreations” first introduced the idea of a Valentine’s Day for girlfriends, ladies everywhere have revered Galentine’s Day as the day to ditch their husbands and boyfriends, and celebrate their friendships. Planning a brunch, grabbing drinks after work or a night out are always good choices, but nowadays ladies are opting to get active and sweat it out together. Working out is the new going out!
One of my favorite new activities is yoga. How did I not discover this before??? And how much fun would it be with my best girlfriends, followed by some Luna bars and maybe sushi….
This Galentine’s Day, LUNA continues their mission to nourish and uplift women by introducing a new dark chocolate flavor bar that has only five grams of sugar. The new flavor LUNA bar will keep ladies energized for their day’s activities. Here are a few suggestions for your Galentine’s Day outing:
- Take in the View – Plan a morning or afternoon hike
- Find Your Zen – Find a local class or hire an instructor for a private yoga session
- Jog it Out – Gather your gal pals and plan a fun jog route through your neighborhood
- Get Fit Together – Celebs like Oprah, Lady Gaga and Lena Dunham get together with their besties and motivate each other through a SoulCycle or Orangetheory Fitness class
I’ve never tried them before but I bet dark chocolate would be my favorite. I’ve been starting to work out more but it would be so much more encouragement if I had a workout girlfriend.
