One thing I love about new vehicles is the technology built in that helps me as a parent not only drive more comfortably, but drive safer. The 2016 Lexus 200NX provides me with not only the luxury that Lexus provides, but more importantly made me feel like a more alert and helped me to drive knowing that my family and those other families on the road were safer for it.
Let’s talk about comfort. The Lexus 200NX features Dual Zone Climate Control, heated seats, and leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. These little things make a big impact on your drive experience. Plus cool features like the remote touch pad allows me to control the stereo, answer phone calls, and map my route with a natural touch. the huge display makes it easy to glance at my settings while keeping my eyes on the road.
The luxury in this Lexus (and others) is second to none. I normally drive a Pilot – which I love – but when you’ve gone from a family SUV to a luxury crossover you notice. The way the 200NX hugs the road, turns corners, and accelerates smoothly is nothing I have experienced before. The added benefit of sports seats -the kind that you don’t sit in, you melt into them – makes driving this car a huge pleasure.

Another test the Lexus 200NX passed – the grocery test! A full week’s of groceries, a 35lb bag of dog food, and a huge box of cat litter (along with a yoga mat and a few other necessities) fit comfortably in the trunk. This gives me the impression that travel would be great – I can put luggage in the trunk or on the top rack.
