Last month I took my kiddos to Disneyland – for the FIRST TIME! They had an amazing time there! We flew in to John Wayne airport and got right into an awesome ride for the few days we were there – the 2015 Mazda CX-9.
4 Star rating, big enough to carry the family but still east to park, the CX-9 was a perfect vehicle for our mini-vacation. I was easily able to get the kids in their car seats, plus pick up my sister and utilize the 3rd row seating on this bad boy since it seats 7. I could see myself in the Mazda CX-9 long-term.
Safety is an obvious concern of mine and I was happy to see the 4 Star Rating on Safecar.gov. Safety features include front side-impact air bags and side-impact air curtains with rollover protection. Everyone is safe. Rear backup sensors, Blind Spot Monitor, and Cross Traffic sensors are all standard on the Touring and Grand Touring models.
Navigation was a cinch! Although I grew up in Orange County, I barely remember any of the directions to my favorite spots – everything has changed so much! But the navigation system made it easy to find places like the nearest In-n-Out Burger and our hotel.
I loved that everything fit into the CX-9 so well. When traveling with kids you tend to have a lot of stuff, so having room to store is a needed resource. I’m happy to say we had room for all of our stuff and then some.
