I feel like glitter and makeup go hand in hand. For me anyway. I like to have my makeup area pretty and sparkly, so I headed over to Dollar Tree to get some inspiration and came up with this really cute striped glitter makeup brush holder!
You Will Need
- clear vase
- glitter in your favorite colors
- Modge Podge glue
- paint brush or sponge applicator
- marbles or glass pebbles
- Tape (masking tape works best but clear tape is good too)
Start my making sure your vase is clean. I tend to wipe it down with rubbing alcohol (also at Dollar Tree).
Use the tape to create stripes (or chevrons if you are feeling ambitious!). Going section by section apply Modge Podge to the open parts of the vase (be careful not to get too much of the tape), then roll or sprinkle glitter to stick.
Move to the next section until finished. Leave the tape on the vase until completely dry or overnight. Slowly peel the tape off. Once all of the tape is off you can seal the vase with another coat of Modge Podge. Fill the vase with glass marbles.
