My house is FULL of football fans. We have our favorites and love to cheer them on – like my favorite New England team! I’ve even thought about joining a fantasy football league! We tend to go all out for games – sometimes we have friends over (which we definitely will for The Big Game!) and I love to grill and cook for it, but get a little tired of the standard football fare – wings, pizza, etc. I decided to do my own take on finger-food chicken – Grilled Marinated Drumsticks! With Foster Farms and Stubb’s, it’s like a match made in heaven.
I have grown quite fond of using Foster Farms Fresh & Natural chicken, which you can find at grocers like Albertson’s and Safeway. I also love the ease of Stubb’s Chicken Marinade. Grilled Marinated Drumsticks

Ingredients:
- 1 package Foster Farms Fresh & Natural Chicken (look for the DARK BLUE LABEL)
- 1 bottle Stubb’s Citrus & Onion Marinade (find in the barbecue sauce section)
- 1 cup flour
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat grill. Place you pan in oven with butter to melt. In separate pan, mix flour and salt and coat every piece of chicken. Once butter is melted remove from oven and coat chicken in butter thoroughly, keeping chicken in the pan. Once coated pour entire bottle of Stubb’s Marinade over chicken and coat thoroughly. Grill until internal temp reaches 165 degrees, about 25 minutes, basting with Stubb’s marinade every 5 minutes. Serve HOT! Serves 4-6
The best thing about this recipe is that you can throw all of the ingredients together ahead of time and get them straight on the grill at your next tailgate party. Do what I did and grab a disposable tray – no mess!
