This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of New York Life for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
My daughter is only 4 years old, but shows a huge interest in baking and cooking. Of course I don’t let her do it on her own, but I do give her every chance to help me in the kitchen and even decide on what to bake. Sometimes it’s basic, like Spaghetto and Meatballs. Sometimes it’s a little out there, like peanut butter and jelly chicken. No, we haven’t ever made that!
She enjoys putting the ingredients together and discovering what happens when you add a new flavor to cookie dough, and I enjoy nourishing her mind with things that I have learned along the way when it comes to cooking. I love that she has an insatiable appetite and will try anything (even fish-egg sushi!) because it only makes her want to try more and expand her palate. I have always thought she would be a chef, and I am doing what I can to make sure she achieves that dream if she desires. Cooking classes are definitely in her future!
Do you have a life long ambition that you achieved, or on the road to? Do you have someone in your life that you are helping to follow their dreams? I would love to hear about it in the comments!
