Texas Roadhouse Rolls with Cinnamon Butter

This copycat recipe allows you to make the Texas Roadhouse rolls with cinnamon butter in the comfort of your kitchen, the recipe starts by kneading all the ingredients together, forming a sticky dough.

Ingredients
  

For the rolls:

  • 1 Packet of dry active yeast
  • ¼ C. Warm water
  • ½ C. Milk
  • ½ C. Buttermilk
  • ¼ C. Granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • Pinch salt
  • 3 ½ C. All-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Softened unsalted butter

For the cinnamon honey butter:

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter softened and unsalted
  • ½ tsp. Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. Honey
  • 1 Tbsp. Confectioners sugar

Instructions
 

  • Mix all the ingredients for the rolls in a large mixing bowl and knead a dough.
  • Let it rise for about 1 hour at room temperature, covered with a kitchen cloth.
  • Place the dough onto a floured surface and roll it into a 1/2-inch thick rectangular shape. Cut the dough into 12 even smaller rectangular shapes.
  • Fold the ends of each rectangle to form a roll shape and let it sit on a parchment-lined sheet.
  • Let them rise for about 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 400 F or 200 C degrees and bake the rolls for about 15 minutes or until browned and cooked.
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned on top.
  • Mix all the ingredients until creamy and delicious to make the cinnamon butter and serve with the baked rolls.
