- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
- Cook the meat and onions over medium-high heat in a deep sided skillet until the meat is completely browned and the onions have begun to soften. 
- Drain any excess grease from the meat. 
- Add the diced tomatoes and drained can of corn to the skillet, and saute for 4-5 minutes. 
- Place a thin layer of the meat mixture into the bottom of a well greased pie or casserole dish. 
- Top the meat mixture with two flour tortillas. 
- Add another layer of meat mixture and top with ½ cup of the cheese. 
- Place 3 flour tortillas on top. 
- Add the remaining meat mixture, and bake for 20 minutes. 
- Remove from the oven, top with the last cup of cheese, and bake for another 10 minutes. 
- Let rest a few minutes before serving topped with freshly chopped green onions.
