Grandma’s Meat and Tater Hot dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 Can Green beans with the drained liquid reserved
  • 1 Can Cream of Onion soup
  • 8 oz. Velveeta cheese cut into 12 pieces
  • 1 lb. Beef Ground
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • ¾ cup Sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Saute the ground beef and onion until cooked completely. Drain any excess grease.
  • Stir the green beans into the ground beef mixture, but reserve the liquid from the can for later.
  • Mix together the soup, sour cream and liquid from the green beans.
  • Spread the ground beef mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Top the meat with the slices of velveeta cheese.
  • Spread a single layer of tater tots on top of the casserole.
  • Spread the sauce mixture over the casserole. Bake for 1 hour.
