Shrimp bisque

If you want to be fancy and make something spectacular in front of your guests or just for yourself, then you have to make this recipe. It’s a perfect seafood idea for the ones who enjoy seafood.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Tbsp. Butter
  • C. Celery chopped
  • C. Green onions chopped
  • 1 ½ C. Heavy whipping cream
  • 2 C. Whole milk
  • 3 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Tomato paste
  • 8 oz. Cooked shrimp cut into pieces
  • 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • First, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat on the stove. Add the celery and green onions and cook for about 5 minutes until they are softened.
  • Stir in the flour and saute for another minute or so.
  • Warm the milk in a microwave until warm and pour into the saucepan. Whisk until everything is combined and no longer lumps are in the mixture.
  • Whisk the heavy cream, tomato paste, old bay seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bring to a low simmer and continue to cook until the bisque thickens.
  • Stir in the shrimp meat and cook until heated.
  • Serve and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
