- 8 cups popped popcorn
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
First, preheat your oven to 250 F or 130 C degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, place the popcorn and pecans.
In a saucepan over medium heat, stir in the brown sugar, honey, and butter and bring to a boil. Stir constantly to prevent it from burning. Remove from heat and stir the vanilla and baking soda.
Pour the sauce all over the popcorn and pecans and stir until combined.
Transfer the popcorn to a prepared baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for about 30-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes for even baking.
