- ⅓ cup Light Corn Syrup
- 8 tbsp. Butter
- ½ cup Water
- 2 cup Sugar
- 10 oz. Pecans or other nuts
- ½ tsp. Baking Soda
In a saucepan over medium high heat, mix together the corn syrup, butter, water and sugar.
Bring the mixture to a boil, and cook for roughly 10 minutes until the temperature reaches 300 degrees.
Remove the saucepan from the stove and stir in the baking soda. Mix in the nuts.
Spread the mixture into an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Let the brittle cool completely. Break the brittle into pieces before serving.
