Mushroom and Garlic Spaghetti Dinner

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Package of Spaghetti
  • 1 Package of Mushrooms Sliced
  • 4 tbsp salted Butter Divided into two eaual pieces
  • 1 ½ tsp Garlic Minced
  • ½ tsp Kosher Salt
  • ¼ tsp Black Pepper
  • ¾ cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • Ingredients for Garnish:
  • Fresh Parsley

Instructions
 

  • Fill a large pot with water.
  • Add salt and bring the water to boiling.
  • Follow the remaining instructions from the back of the spaghetti package.
  • Before draining the water from the pot, set aside ¼ cup of the pasta water.
  • Add two tablespoons of butter to a large skillet set on medium-high heat.
  • Stir in the sliced mushrooms, cooking for 4-5 minutes until they begin to turn a golden brown.
  • Add in the minced garlic, stirring as they are being added. Continue to stir for a minute. Salt and pepper as needed.
  • Reduce the heat on the stove to low.
  • Add in two more tablespoons of butter.
  • Stir when adding in the pasta, reserved water and cheese. Use tongs to toss the pasta until it is coated in the sauce.
  • Taste test to season as needed.
  • Toss before serving. Spoon the spaghetti in single serving bowls.
  • Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
