Homemade Baked Egg Custard

- 2 cup Milk
- ½ cup Sugar
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
- 4 Large Eggs Beaten
- Pinch of Nutmeg
- Refrigerated Pie Crust
Roll out the pie crust, and then place it into a 9 inch pie plate.
Heat the oven to 400 degrees.
Stir the milk, sugar and vanilla into a saucepan over medium heat.
Once the sugar has melted, stir in the eggs slowly. Continue to simmer until the mixture has thickened slightly.
Add in the nutmeg, and pour the mixture into the pie plate.
Bake for 40 minutes or until cooked through.
Allow to cool and then chill before serving.
