Buttery Swim Biscuits

If you’re looking for a simple biscuit recipe, these butter swin biscuits its only call for 6 different ingredients and you can have them on the table in just over half an hour. Flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt blend with buttermilk and melted butter. The swim biscuits will come out of the oven crumbly, buttery, and delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • tablespoons white sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • cups all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  • Mix the baking powder, salt and sugar with the flour.
  • Pour in the buttermilk and mix to create a moist dough.
  • Pour the melted butter into an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • Put the dough on top of the butter.
  • Spread the dough out evenly, using a spatula, until it touches every sides of the pan.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the dough into 9 squares.
  • Bake the butter swim biscuits for about 20 minutes or until they’re golden on top.
