Apple Streusel Bread

Ingredients
  

For the cinnamon spice mixture:

  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar

For the apple mixture:

  • 2 Apples Peeled and Diced
  • 1 tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Sugar Granulated
  • ½ cup Walnuts Chopped
  • 1 tsp. Apple Pie Spice

For the bread:

  • 1 ½ cup Flour
  • cup Sugar Granulated
  • ¼ tsp. Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ½ cup Butter Softened
  • ½ cup Sour Cream
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the sugar spice mixture.
  • Place the ingredients for the apple mixture in a bowl, and toss to coat well.
  • Mix together the ingredients for the bread until well blended and smooth.
  • Spread half of the bread mixture into the bottom of a loaf pan that is well greased.
  • Sprinkle half of the apple mixture and then half of the sugar spice mixture.
  • Repeat with the remaining bread batter, apples and then sugar spice mixture on top.
  • Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 1 hour, or until cooked through.
