For the cinnamon spice mixture:
- 1 tsp. Nutmeg
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
For the apple mixture:
- 2 Apples Peeled and Diced
- 1 tbsp. Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp. Sugar Granulated
- ½ cup Walnuts Chopped
- 1 tsp. Apple Pie Spice
For the bread:
- 1 ½ cup Flour
- ⅔ cup Sugar Granulated
- ¼ tsp. Baking Soda
- 2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 2 Large Eggs
- ½ cup Butter Softened
- ½ cup Sour Cream
- 2 tsp. Vanilla
In a bowl, combine the ingredients for the sugar spice mixture.
Place the ingredients for the apple mixture in a bowl, and toss to coat well.
Mix together the ingredients for the bread until well blended and smooth.
Spread half of the bread mixture into the bottom of a loaf pan that is well greased.
Sprinkle half of the apple mixture and then half of the sugar spice mixture.
Repeat with the remaining bread batter, apples and then sugar spice mixture on top.
Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 1 hour, or until cooked through.
