4-Ingredient Sausage Gravy
This simple sausage gravy pairs so well with warm biscuits, especially the homemade kind which are always better. To make it, you’re going to need breakfast sausage, flour, garlic powder, and milk. A little salt and black pepper adds the right amount of seasoning (the exact amount depends on the brand of sausage you’re using). You can have this on the table in about 15 minutes and it certainly makes a welcome change from toast or Cornflakes!

- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1 pound mild ground breakfast sausage
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 8 biscuits to serve
Cook the meat in a hot skillet until browned completely.
Stir in the flour and turn down the heat a bit.
Stir in garlic powder and season to taste with salt and black pepper.
Whisk in the milk and cook until thick.
Serve over warm biscuits.
