Copycat Wendy's Chili Recipe

Try this copycat recipe if you are into a hearty, warm, rich meal that will make you feel cosy on a cold winter day. It’s a copycat of the famous Wendy’s Chilli, meaning it has many flavours. The recipe will make around 4-6 servings, so you can enjoy this meal with your family over the weekend or make it as a weeknight meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. Ground beef
  • 1 Bell pepper chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • C. Celery chopped
  • 1 Jalapeno deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 Large can of Tomato sauce
  • 1 Small can of diced tomatoes
  • 2 Cans Pinto beans not drained
  • 2 Cans of Kidney beans not drained
  • 3 Tbsp. Chilli powder
  • 3 tsp. Cumin
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 2 tsp. Minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined.
  • Cook on low for about 2 hours until the flavors are released, and enjoy it with your loved ones.
