waffles4 Hot Chocolate Waffles  Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs (room temp)
  • 1 single serve size carton of TruMoo Chocolate Milk (1 cup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • whipped cream
  • chocolate chips

waffles1 Sift flour into a large bowl. Mix all dry ingredients together. In a second bowl whisk eggs until frothy, then add TruMoo and vanilla extract. Whisk melted butter with the egg mixture. waffles2 Add egg mixture with dry ingredients, mixing until well combined. If it’s too thick add a little more TruMoo! waffles3 Fold in marshmallows & chocolate chips. Spoon about 1/4 or so cup on to a medium heat waffle iron for about 3-4 minutes or until golden and lifts off easily. Serve with whipped cream on top, sprinkled with chocolate chips. waffles6

  1. We drink a ton of Trumoo in our household. I like the vanilla flavored milk they release at Halloween that is orange in color. The kids definitely prefer that over orange juice.
