As many of you know, I have been working on my weight loss this year. So far it’s been good but I DID “fall off the wagon” so to speak over the last month. Luckily I only gained 3 pounds and didn’t pack the 25 I lost back on.
But 3 pounds is 3 pounds I DON’T want to have back thankyouverymuch. So I am trying something different. The Slimfast 14 Day Challenge! I am a week into it and those 3 pounds are pretty much gone thanks to the ease of Slimfast. 2 shakes, 3 bars, and a 500 calorie dinner. Super easy!
I was a bit skeptical about the taste to be honest. I always remember Slimfast in a can and it always tasted kind of powdery and, well, funny. The chocolate didn’t taste like chocolate, it was more like a diety-proteiny-all around gross beverage. Honestly!! I was completely turned off by it. BUT thankfully Slimfast changed it all up and WOW. The shakes are actually GOOD now!
My personal favorite is Pina Colada. I totally thought it would be Chocolate Royale. Which is still yummy. But Pina Colada. YUM. And the bars are awesome – there’s a new Slimfast bar called “Have Your Cake” which is like a white vanilla cake flavor. With sprinkles!
I am happy to say am opening up my closet potential and getting away from “Locked Closet Syndrome”. Let me explain:
A closet full of clothes, yet nothing to wear…we can all relate. With clothes in “once-fit” or “goal sizes” (sigh) and daunting styles of the season, many women struggle with unlocking the full potential of their closet. In fact, a new survey commissioned by Slimfast shows the prevalence of Locked Closet Syndrome – the practice of “locking away” clothes that don’t currently fit or that you can’t wear confidently. Highlights from Slimfast’s Unlock Your Closet Survey include:
93% of women have multiple sizes of clothing in their closet – 3 sizes on average
79% of women frequently dread getting dressed because of ill-fitting clothes in their closet
More than half of women have purchased clothing in a smaller size than they currently wear – 27% say it motivates them to lose weight
Additionally: 83% of women admit to lying about their pants size more often than their age
I have gone from a 14 to a 9 (not lying!!!) thanks in part to Slimfast!
I was supplied with a 14 day supply of Slimfast products to facilitate my review. All opinions expressed are my own.
