These are the top ten things I want to see/do in my life – I would love to hear yours!
1. Go to Cannes Film Festival
… or any film festival. But Cannes is on the top of my list!
2. Walk along the Thames in London
I have always had a love affair with all things British. I even married a man of Brit descent and I have a HUGE Union Jack mural on my living room wall. To walk along the Thames, see Big Ben, The London Eye, and Buckingham Palace would be breathtaking.
3. See the Taj Mahal
Another love I have is for the Indian culture. I have always been drawn to the intricate visuals like henna tattoos, saris, and bindhis. The symbolism of it all is incredible. And to see one of the Seven Wonders…. I would be honored!
4. Drive across the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, England
My late father in law always talked about growing up in Bristol, England. My mother in law told me she drove across this suspension bridge every day to work. I would love to see what they saw so many years ago.
5. Go to a huge awards show
Oscars, Emmys, MTV Awards. Really anything with a red carpet. The Oscars always hold a special place in my heart. When I was younger they were always held late March, right around my birthday, so it was always something extra to look forward to. Now they are held earlier by about a month, but I still look forward to Oscar season! I only wish that Billy Crystal would be asked back to host (he was always my favorite!)
6. Meet royalty
Just a curtsey and a handshake. I would love it.
7. Take a cross-country trip
I’ve actually done HALF of this already. About 9 years ago my husband and I drove from San Jose to Houston, TX. It took 3 days and was exhausting, but in my mind there’s no better way to see the country.
8. Go to Comic-Con in San Diego
Ok, you are now seeing the nerd in me! Comic-Con would be AMAZING. It’s something I really want to do with my husband! Dressed up and everything!!
9. Be a zombie on The Walking Dead
to be a zombie on my FAVORITE show EVER? HECK YES! I would rock the hell out of that!
10. Visit Japan (especially Tokyo)
Yet another culture I am in-love with – Japan! I am such a city girl, and to me Tokyo is the CITY of all cities. I love New York, so it’s only natural I would gravitate toward the shiny neon lights of Toyko.
So there you have it! My top ten! I would love to hear what’s on your bucket list – or anything you have done that I should add to my list! Comment below!
