I Went to TNTPortland And It Was Awesome
This past week I was invited to a local mini-conference TNTPORTLAND hosted by Traveling Mom and Techlicious at The Westin Hotel. in downtown Portland. First of all, a conference in Portland – my hometown here I live a mere 20 minutes away from The Westin – was exciting in itself. I was even more excited to find out about the brands that were represented there and what’s coming up in the tech world.
Hasbro is one of the toy/kids brands in the forefront of technology. I was able to play with 5 of their top holiday toys, some new, some an electronic twist (literally) on classics.
- FurReal Friends StarLily
- Playmation Marvel Avengers Starter Pack
- Scrabble Twist
- Play All Day Elmo
- Twister Moves
Each one of these toys are fun in their own right. I LOVED Starlily, she was so sweet and definitely an example of tech growth in the toy world.
Westin’s chef did a great demonstration of preparing Thai Spiced Steak Lettuce Wraps. They were delicious!! I can’t wait to try it at home!
Another great sponsor was Connect My Car (presented by CEA) which has economical ways of updating the technology in vehicles, adding things like rear cameras, Bluetooth technology, and dash cams. Especially exciting for me who drives a mid-2000’s Honda Pilot.
I am especially excited for the new video service Vidmob – this service allows you to have a pro edit your videos at a GREAT rate – something awesome for both bloggers like me and family videographers!
As a cherry to the day I won a 2 night stay at Westin Portland! We decided as a family to spend Christmas there – our staycation! Stay tuned for that!
