Happy Halloween

Halloween.. I have a love/hate relationship with it. Truly it’s like my FAVORITE holiday. And there lies the problem. I tend to go “all out” for it. Which means financially I tend to go a bit overboard.

Now that I have kids I have definitely become a bit more frugal. Their preschool alone is half of my mortgage! So rather than spend a ton I get creative. Part of that creativity comes with the help of Dollar Tree! I headed over there to see what kind of Halloween goodies I could find.

Oh boy, I found a TON of great things! Not only dress-up stuff, but decor and candy! So I bought a few things – spent $10 – and came home to have some Halloween FUN!

Riley got very excited when she saw her fairy costume. I purchased a tulle tutu, fairy wings, a fairy wand, and of course a princess crown. Total cost? A mere $4. I paired it with a pair of white tights and T-shirt and she was an adorable little fairy princess.

I also got some ice cube molds in the shapes of skulls, fingers, bones, and pumpkins. But instead of ice cubes we are making gummies! If you are looking for a good gummy recipes check out Eat The Evidence – they have the easiest and best one I have found!

So now I am learning you don’t have to break the bank when looking for Halloween goodies – even bags of candy to give out can be found at your local Dollar Tree! For a store location near you click here!
