Wild Ophelia is a uniquely American brand featuring all-natural and often organic ingredients sourced from small farms and food artisans. Our chocolate bars tell an American story, and bridge the divide between the local, American farmer’s movement and chocolate. Flavor combinations, such as BBQ Potato Chips, Beef Jerky and Peanut Butter Banana are unexpected, yet approachable.
I was first introduced to Wild Ophelia in Chicago this past July. Wild Ophelia was one of the sponsors at Blogher 2013. There were two things that caught my eye: chocolate and Hunger Games!
Wild Ophelia mixes flavors with chocolate you wouldn’t think would go together, but they do. Divinely. Like Smokehouse BBQ Potato Chips, Southern Hibiscus Peach, and my personal favorite: Beef Jerky.
I was sent a sampling of Wild Ophelia Chocolate Bars, which included the Limited Edition Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark. WOW. You haven’t had good Peppermint Bark until you have had Wild Ophelia! I don’t know what it is – the peppermint tastes more pure than I have ever tasted. So worth the $3.99 per bar!
You can find Wild Ophelia online and at Walgreens! I plan on getting more Wild Ophelia chocolate for stocking stuffers – I know my family will love it. They might even share (but probably not)!
