Giveaway – Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler! Ends 5/30

The importance of recycling—the process of turning a product’s useful parts into a new product to ease the consumption of resources, energy and landfill space—certainly can’t be understated. Recycling a single plastic bottle not only saves hundreds of years in the landfill but also reduces the amount of oil used to produce a new bottle and the emissions created in producing it.

Living here in Oregon I have grown accustomed to the art of recycling. Although living in an apartment I find that it can be tough to separate my recyclables while still having room for everything else in my little place.

I was excited to get the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler to review! The concept is great – the Hidden Recycler attaches to the inside of your cabinet so it stays hidden. It is wide enough to hold milk jugs (I swear we go through SO much milk with two toddlers!) and the Hidden Recycler has a handy carrying handle – just lift and pour the contents into the big recycling bin! SO easy!

I love that it is deceptively large, I can’t believe how much it can hold before I need to empty it out. It’s also a great neutral color, lined on the inside to prevent spills, and machine or hand washable in case there are any spills.

Rubbermaid is committed to recycling, which is why they also have more recycling bins, something for everyone:

2-in1 Recycler

Stackable Recyclers

So no more excuses! Rubbermaid is making it easy to recycle and helping for a cleaner Earth for generations to come.

  2. I like the hidden recycle bin. Would keep my 2 year old from wanting to play with the recycling bin

  3. Would love to win one since it’s hard to separate trash and recyclable items in a small apartment. I have 5 kids so I go through a lot of recyclable stuff.

  4. I like the 2 in 1, that would be a big help with a dog who scrounges in both the garbage AND the recycle bin.
